How are the rooms in a 5-star hotel in Lima classified?


The 5-star hotels are characterized by their exceptional range and high standards of comfort. Similarly, the rooms of these hotels are classified, each one is different by the structure, implements and service, however, what they have in common is the quality. Today, you will check with us the classification of these rooms in a 5-star hotel.

First point to qualify in a 5 star hotel: the rooms 

These hotel rooms have the necessary spaces to be occupied by clients comfortably. The beds must have a mattress protector, pillows, a nightstand and generally a personal bathroom. Therefore, the following criteria should be considered:

Individual Room

They are characterized by having a personal bed with the necessary comforts so that a person can inhabit it. The room has the basic furniture, but essential for your stay. The room has the basic furniture, but indicated for your stay.

Double Room

These rooms should have a structure greater than 16m2, includes two personal beds o two beds, the necessary furniture.

Superior Room

These rooms have one king size bed or two double beds, depending on preference. Being a superior room, it not only has WiFi internet, a Smart Tv and a telephone line; You can also find extras like: alarm clock, coffee maker and a minibar. These rooms measure more space than the double room, approximately 30m².

Superior Plus Room

In the same way as the superior rooms, these have a king bed or two double beds. Acquiring this service you can enjoy WiFi internet, a Smart TV with digital signal, telephone line, minibar and other amenities that the hotel offers such as: Coffee maker, alarm clock and in some cases a safety box. In terms of services, this room includes access to limited hotel facilities such as a restaurant or buffet, access to the directory for business meetings or others, however, these amenities and services vary according to hotel regulations.

Executive Rooms

These rooms are equipped with one King or two double beds, WiFi internet, Smart TV with digital signal, telephone line and a good amount of furniture as established by the hotel such as: an alarm clock, coffee maker, iron, ironing board and minibar; the executive rooms also includes a bathtub. The services it offers are equal to or greater than Superior Plus.

Second point to qualify in a 5 star hotel: the suites

The suites are called high-class rooms for their most complete and luxurious spaces in a  5-star hotel. These spaces have all the necessary resources for the client's stay, in which they can hold meetings and conferences. The suites are fully equipped, with more furniture and services than the rooms.

Junior Suite 

These suites are equipped with a King size bed. They have WiFi internet, Smart TV with digital signal, telephone line with voicemail, alarm clock, safety box, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, minibar and a living room. The suites must be larger than 45m². The services it offers are mostly almost complete, such as access to the directory, the restaurant and a buffet meal.

Senior Suite

The Senior Suite has the furniture and services already mentioned. In addition, the bathroom includes a Jacuzzi and a large shower. This suite is ideal for special occasions such as a wedding night or even an anniversary. The size should be approximately 65m² and in some cases it offers an extra room such as: terrace.

Deluxe Suite

The Deluxe Suite has all the comforts mentioned above, however, it is equipped with a living room, a dining room, a guest bathroom and a luxurious extra bathroom with a sauna and Jacuzzi. This Suite includes wireless Internet connection, Smart TV with digital signal, generally two telephone lines with voicemail, alarm clock, safety box, iron, ironing board, minibar and dressing room. The services it includes are the same as the Senior Suite and in some cases access to the wine room. This space should measure approximately 73 m².

Suite Olimpo

This Suite includes the same spaces as the aforementioned suites, with the difference that it has a living room, a dining room, a kitchenette, a guest bathroom, a bedroom with a King bed and a main bathroom that includes a sauna and Jacuzzi. The furniture included is the same as the Deluxe Suite. The Olympus Suite is ideal if you want to have a dinner or business meeting. This room includes the same services as any other suite and some extras according to the hotel, the size of the suite is approximately 95 m².
